On March 2nd 2018, Companies 5 and 6 were alerted for a motor vehicle crash, one vehicle into a telephone pole possibly on fire. Crews went enroute and while enroute, C58 arrived on scene and confirmed one vehicle on fire, no entrapment.

Chief Todd Breeden, March 16. McGaheysville and Grottoes firefighters were dispatched for an explosion which quickly upgraded to a structure fire. Units marked on location with a fully involved structure threatening other exposures. Master streams were deployed to knock down the fire and hand lines used to mop up. Firefighters were on the scene for several hours.
Around lunch time the truck loaded up and headed to one of the baseball fields in town to assist the Middletown Area Baseball Association with putting up the netting for the batting cage. Love seeing the good ones without fires.
